Nate Allard, a 15-year-old with aspergers from Chanhassen, Minn. is an arcade game guru. As a kid he would play all the classic games including Pac Man and Donkey Kong. Today he has created an arcade game of his own called “Lost Glitch” where the hero character of the game has to overcome a series of obstacles to advance to the next level.
“Typically kids on the spectrum will find that one thing that they focus in on and go deep,” Allard’s dad Todd told MyFox Twin Cities.
Allard who is enrolled in a youth technology program at Macalester College to learn more about coding and programming video games hopes to one-day work in the gaming industry.
