Scuba Diving is Therapy for Man with Autism

(August 6, 2014) - Nick Johnson and his dad Glenn are a scuba diving team. For the last several years they have been coming to a Chicago pool to spend time under water. It's part of a non-profit called Diveheart which is dedicated to building confidence and independence through scuba diving for individuals with disabilities. Nick says being underwater relieves anxiety and helps him "think straight." Learn more about 26-year-old Nick and the program in the WGN-TV report above.
