Rising Tide's Tom D'Eri Named to 2014 Miami Herald '20 Under 40' Class

November 10, 2014

Co-Founder of Rising Tide Car Wash Tom D’Eri was selected as part of The Miami Herald’s 2014 Class of 20 entrepreneurs under the age of 40. The Parkland Florida car wash which has employed 35 adults on the autism spectrum has received critical acclaim since it opened for helping those in our community. NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams featured a report by Harry Smith on Rising Tide Car Wash earlier this April. This small business has also been featured in Autism Speaks “Advancing the Role and Impact of Small Businesses in Employing Adults with Autism” initiative.

The car wash started with the help of Tom’s father and other Co-Founder John D’Eri. They determined that this car wash was the ideal business for creating jobs for people with autism like Tom’s brother Andrew. Their next goal is to employ 100 people with autism by the end of 2016.
