PDQ restaurant gives 10-year-old with autism chance to hone job skills

James is 10 year old and he is getting a head start on acquiring job skills at the PDQ restaurant in Fayetteville, North Carolina. According to the restaurant's Facebook page, James is the " youngest PDQ team member and has many special talents, including putting a smile on our face every month." 

James has autism and one day his mom to him to the PDQ in Fayetteville where he met the manager, Cameron. The next time James and his mom went to PDQ, he recognized Cameron and shouted his name, asking if he can join the team. Cameron gave him a chance to work with the team on Saturdays and he was beyond impressed by James' skills. Now, James, does everything from make milkshakes to working the drive-thru.
