Over 6,000 Run 4 Miles of Hope for Autism

September 07, 2013

On September 7th over 6,000 runners converged on Central Park for the inaugural Autism Speaks 4 Miles of Hope presented by BNY Mellon. This event, in partnership with the New York Road Runners, helps build on the awareness that is needed for autism in New York and other communities throughout the Northeast. The beautiful day was packed with activities for participants of all ages to learn more about autism. All event guests enjoyed musical performances from Daniel’s Music Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides free musical instruction to all individuals with disabilities in the NYC area. Curtis Arledge, vice chairman and chief executive officer of BNY Mellon Investment Management and Autism Speaks Board Member attended the event with his family.
