The NYC Department of Sanitation (DSNY) will Light It Up Blue this year in honor of Autism Awareness Month and World Autism Awareness Day!

DSNY in a breakfast in NY officially kicked off their Autism Awareness Month fundraising and awareness campaign! Thanks to their support 2,500 DSNY trucks and street sweepers will feature our Light It Up Blue poster.

The partnership between Autism Speaks and the NYC Department of Sanitation began in 2013. Chiefs Steven Costas, John Capo, Todd Kuznitz, George Best and Anthony Ardolino were instrumental in forming the partnership.

Autism Speaks would like to thank all of the employees of their 59 districts and administrative offices for their dedication and support. We ask you to please extend your thanks to all DSNY members for their efforts! Thank you DSYN for supporting Autism Speaks and Light It Up Blue!
