The New Jersey chapter of Autism Speaks held its 2nd annual Chef’s Soiree on Saturday evening, October 10th. “Chef Inspired Healthy” star, Diane Henderiks, headlined the event with over a dozen chefs who donated their time and delicious food for the event at the Trump National Golf Course in Colts Neck, New Jersey.
The weather was as beautiful as the music provided by Tim McCloone and the Shirleys throughout the evening. Guests from all over the East Coast gathered to enjoy a night of fabulous food inspired from flavors all over the globe prepared by celebrity chefs who donated their evening to benefit Autism Speaks. Chefs included Brooke Parkhurst and James Biscione, co-authors of Just Married and Cooking, George Kyrtatas of Sweet Water Bar and Grill, Geoff Johnson of Old Causeway, Michael Jurusz of Chef Mike's ABG, Paul Diomede of Sea Bright Fish Company, Michael Scipione of Sano Catering, David Gonzalez of Maya restaurant, Jackie Mazza of Knead Baked Goods, Michelle Spell of Ava's Cupcakes, Susan Hordych of Suzi's Sweet Shoppe, and Sherri Hiller of Chocolate Legends. The evening also included tricky tray raffles, silent auction items, and a live auction for the packed house. Photographer Kimberly Romano roamed the room capturing memorable moments, while volunteers from Alpha Xi Delta college chapters from Monmouth and Rider Universities circulated with appetizers.
