A Musician with Autism Hopes to Make his College Dream Come True

June 12, 2014

(June 12, 2014) - Ben Jenkins is a talented 18-year-old with autism who graduated from the Denver School of the Arts and now is raising funds in the hopes he can attend the Berklee College of Music in Boston this fall. Ben's family, who lost their home and went bankrupt paying for therapy and services for him, don't have the financial means to pay Berklee's tuition costs, which are over $60,000 a year.

Ben has begun doing concerts in his local community as a way to raise the needed funds. With the help of his family and his ABA therapist Dr. Annette Nunez they have started a social campaign titled "Ben to Berklee." If you would like to help Ben's efforts you can find him on his personal website, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube
