(September 27, 2014) -- More than 6,000 attendees participated in the 11th Annual Houston Walk Now for Autism Speaks on September 27,2014 at the Sam Houston Race Park in Houston, TX. Kyle Cousins kicked off the Walk with his spectacular performance of the Star-Spangled Banner.
This year, the walk featured food trucks, bounce houses, an 18-tem raffle for Grand Club members, spa treatments from sponsor Seacrets and a Resource Fair.Several Corporate Autism Speaks members joined together in Houston this year to support walk efforts.
To date, the event raised more than $288,000 in support of Autism Speaks’ mission to fund research, increase awareness and family services and advocate for individuals with autism and their families.
