CTV Atlantic is highlighting the efforts of Chase Faulingham, a five-year-old Nova Scotia boy with autism who found an injured man hidden behind a snow bank in the Hailfax Area.
Faulingham who has been mostly non-verbal for most of his life was walking outside with his grandfather, Thomas Murray when he heard the noise of the injured man. Murray said, “I didn’t hear anything. So we took a couple of steps forward and Chase said, ‘no Poppa Jim, listen, help.’”
After finding the injured man Murray called for an ambulance and both of them waited until it arrived to take the man to the hospital.
Faulingham is now being seen as a hero not only by his family but in his local community.
