The owners of Nantucket’s classic and slickest cars sped down to Don Allen Ford tonight in honor of those with autism.
As the adults took turns sitting behind the wheels more than 50 cars and sang along with Steve Tuna and the Offshores Blues Band, the children played in a bouncy house, got rides on an antique fire engine and munched on burgers and hot dogs.
It was called Cruise Night, a benefit that for five years has kicked off the 9th Annual Walk Now for Autism Speaks walk weekend. Special thanks go to Bill Tornovish and Erik Evens, the owner and president of Don Allen Ford who have supported Autism Speaks for many years. Of those in attendance included Co-Founder of Autism Speaks Bob Wright.
