Girl with autism writes touching note asking for a friend

September 23, 2015

ABC News recently posted a touching story about 7-year-old Molly-Raine Adams and a note she wrote about what qualities she wants in a good friend. Molly-Raine has autism and ADHD.

"I'm very proud of her," Karens Adams, Molly-Raine's mom told ABC News. "It takes a lot for Mol to stay on task and write anything and she did this homework independently which is a huge achievement for her. She thought about it for a good while first and I think she just wants what all children want, to be understood and accepted for who she is."

Below is a transcription of the note:

A Friend
