Comedian with autism brings the laughs on "America's Got Talent"

July 01, 2015

A 15-year-old from Syracuse, NY, wowed Howie Mandel and the whole panel of judges on "America's Got Talent" June 30, and has advanced to the next stage of the competition show.

Leo Lytel, who now lives in Washington, D.C., brought his humor to the stage where Howie Mandel, Howard Stern and Heidi Klum gave him belly laughs.

Lytel was diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS) at age 2. But his self-deprecating "awkward teenager" comedy routine has earned him accolades.

"America's Got Talent" continues next Tuesday at 8 p.m. on NBC. The winner receives a $1 million prize.
