(March 20, 2014) -- Co-Founder of Autism Speaks Suzanne Wright was recently honored as 2014's "Women Shaping History" through the site Education Update for her advocacy work over the years. In an interview for their website for their March/April 2014 Issue, Ms. Wright is asked some of the greatest accomplishment and challenges she's faced and who's inspired her in her career.
When asked about her goals for the future Ms. Wright highlighted one of her biggest missions through Autism Speaks. Ms. Wright said, "We want every country lit up blue this year on World Autism Awareness Day! We want a national autism plan. The President promised us one and it's time there's a national plan of how to help these children, our children."
