Caring Santa Visits Children With Autism at Simon Malls!

December 08, 2014

On Sunday, December 7, for two hours prior to the malls opening, 120 Simon Malls across the country introduced children to Caring Santa!

Autism Speaks is thrilled to have teamed up with Simon Property Group, Inc. and the Noerr Programs Corporation on their Caring Santa program, in association with AbilityPath

Caring Santa is an opportunity to connect with multitudes of families that have children with autism and other special needs, providing a more controlled and welcoming environment to visit Noerr’s Santa Photo Experience!

"There aren't that many of these events for kids with autism, especially to see Santa, so as soon as we saw it was happening we were thrilled," said Jessica Siecieska, who attend the event at Rockaway Townsquare in Rockaway, New Jersey.

"Santa Claus knows that every child is unique; so he took extra care to support the sensory, physical and other developmental needs of children so they could enjoy this wonderful holiday tradition. No lines, no crowds, but lots of fun!" said Charleen Nagy, who works for Autism Speaks and attended the event at Quaker Bridge Mall in Lawrence Township.
