Bronx Student With Autism Found Safe After Wandering

A 12-year-old New York City boy with autism disappeared from his school in the Bronx on Monday. The NYPD searched the school and issued an alert – the boy was found by police officers in Times Square soon after.  Read more on the story at NBC New York.

The boy’s disappearance recalls the continuing search for Avonte Oquendo, the Queens teenager who wandered from his school in October.
