Boy with autism finishes first race with the help of his teammates

Connor Quinn may have finished last in his first cross-country race but he did it with the support of all his teammates by his side. Quinn who is 12 and attends Lewis & Clark Middle School in Nebraska was diagnosed with autism and ADHD at the age of 5. Quinn had his teammates with him who after completing the race, ran back to cheer him on.

Quinn’s mother Kimberly told Live Well Nebraska “He was just so happy to finish. When Connor’s dad asked him why he was crying, Connor said, ‘I finished. I finished. I really finished.”
