Calls to Action's List of Famous People Living with Autism

November 28, 2016 released a list highlighting today's most successful people with autism. The list was created with the goals of spreading awareness about some of today's most widely known advocates and providing role models for children with autism on the road to adulthood.

Temple Grandin

Temple Grandin is an autism advocate who rose to fame as an author of several books on autism, in addition to the 2010 HBO Film on her life titled 'Temple Grandin'. She speaks across the country about her life growing up with autism and is a professor at Colorado University. 

Satoshi Tajiri

Many may not know that the creator of Pokemon was actually diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome. He turned his fascination as a young child about bugs into the worldwide phenomenon of Pokemon 

Dan Aykroyd

Academy Award Nominated actor and writer Dan Aykroyd has been contributing to films since the late 1970s. He first came out about his autism diagnosis in 2004. In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Dan shared how his Asperger Syndrome contributed to the inspiration for the hit movie Ghostbusters.
