From January 8-11, over 35,000 runners and their cheering friends and families were at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL for the annual Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. It was easy to spot many of them dressed as their favorite characters, such as Minnie Mouse, Cinderella, Captain America, Peter Pan, and Snow White. Over the four days, Team Up! with Autism Speaks had a contingent of 85 runners, with 35 of them taking on the Dopey Challenge and running a 5k, 10k, half marathon, and marathon to accumulate 48.6 miles on four consecutive days through the various Disney parks! This dedicated team has collectively raised over $163,000 to date.
