The 10th Annual World Trade Association of Philadelphia was held on Wednesday, March 18th at the Cescaphe Event Center in Philadelphia, PA. There were over 275 people who came out to support Autism Speaks. Among those attending were Autism Speaks President Liz Feld, Autism Speaks funded researcher from Drexel University Dr. Yudell and CBS news anchor Chris May who emceed the evening.
The night included a silent and live auction, and several other opportunities available to support the cause. Autism Speaks President Liz Feld spoke about the impact of the fundraising happening in the Philadelphia and the millions of dollars that has been invested back into the local community which included the over $650,000 that has been raised by the World Trade Association over the past several years. Dr. Yudell spoke of the impact his research has had on the autism community and how Autism Speaks has played a big role in that. The evening ended with the event chair, Anthony Cancelliere thanking everyone for their support. The event raised over $105,000.
