Lids Sports Group, the largest retail seller of hats and licensed sports products in North America, announced a new initiative with Autism Speaks as of August 30, 2019. Under the initiative, Lids will create a limited-edition “Lids Gives” collection of new embroidery options for headwear to increase awareness and raise funds to support Autism Speaks resources and programs. Embroidery options include the iconic Autism Speaks blue puzzle-piece logo and messages of inclusion such as “Understand. Accept. Love.” and “Be Kind.” Available nationwide, the embroidery is customizable and can be placed on any piece of Lids headwear, including branded or team caps.
