Grassroots Advocacy Network

Our advocacy team works closely with grassroots advocates to influence policy at the state and federal levels.

The Autism Speaks Grassroots Advocacy Network is a community of active advocates and volunteers from across the country who work hand-in-hand with each other, Advocacy Ambassadors and our policy staff to achieve our advocacy goals.

Members of the network play a key role in educating other community members on policy issues and ways to support positive change. This group of volunteers works to effectively communicate with elected officials, raise awareness for autism policy issues on social media, contribute to local events and engage new volunteers. As a member of our grassroots network, advocates receive:

• Monthly email communications from our advocacy staff
• Critical legislative updates regarding issues impacting the autism community
• Ways to connect with other autism advocates
• Additional opportunities to get involved and make an impact
