Employee connections drive Wilson’s impact

Wilson Sporting Goods’ partnership with Autism Speaks was inspired by its team members – Wilson’s employees – many of whom have personal connections to autism, either through family members on the spectrum or loved ones supporting the community.

When team members identified autism as a cause they were passionate about, leadership listened, and Love the Moment™ was born. This reimagined cause campaign, developed in collaboration with Autism Speaks, is fueled by teammate initiative and engagement at every level, with full support from leadership – a true reflection of Wilson’s culture of action, care, and purpose.

Wilson Employee connections

Through Love the Moment™, many employees have been inspired to turn their personal connections to autism into meaningful action. Here are three of their stories:
Smiling young man in Yankees jersey and woman posing at baseball stadium holding up number one fingers
For Sydney, her brother Cade’s autism makes sports a powerful bond & inspires her work as Marketing Manager at Wilson Sporting Goods. She promotes inclusion & awareness, bringing personal values & professional mission together in a deeply fulfilling way.
Graduate in blue cap and gown posing with family against a dark blue wall
As a father to Ryan, who has autism, Tom has seen firsthand the importance of inclusion & support for families navigating the spectrum. Tom championed Wilson’s partnership with Autism Speaks, where the Love the Moment™ collection celebrates inclusion.
Smiling man and young baseball player posing on a lit field, the boy holding up a ring proudly
For Ryan, baseball has always been a passion, but when his son Cole was diagnosed with autism, it became a bridge to understanding, connection, and love. Ryan shows how the game he loves can create joy, belonging, and hope for kids on the spectrum.
