We walk For Pete’s Sake. That is the name of our team that has participated in Walk Now For Autism Speaks in St. Louis for over ten years now. While it is an agreeably perfect name for the cause at hand it is actually a bit of a misnomer. We in fact walk for the entire family’s sake. An estimated 6,250 participated in Orlando’s Walk Now for Autism Speaks on November 9th at Cranes Roost Park. This 9th annual Walk had special appearances by the Chick-Fil-A Cow, Rainforest Café’s Cha!Cha, clowns, balloon artists and more! Live performances by songwriter/singer Starr Fields, selections by Orange Blossoms Chorus and nearly a dozen other stage guests entertained throughout the morning.
To date, the event raised
A record-setting 20,000 walkers - including individuals with autism, their families and friends - joined together at Tempe Beach Park on Sunday, Oct. 27 for the annual Arizona Walk Now for Autism Speaks, resulting in over $1.5 million in donations and increased awareness for the disorder.

More than 8,000 walkers joined together on the National Mall Saturday, November 2nd for the 13th Annual Washington, DC Walk Now for Autism Speaks.
