The 10th Annual Georgia Walk Now for Autism Speaks in Partnership with the Marcus Autism Center saw close to 10,000 participants despite the cold wet weather. Walkers enjoyed a morning filled with children’s activities from The Home Depot, Game Truck, inflatables and much more! Our special guest speakers included Bernie Marcus, Co-Founder of The Home Depot and Chairman of the Marcus Foundation and Georgia’s Lt. Governor Casey Cagle, who both urged families to continue to rally their legislators for autism insurance reform in Georgia. Special thanks to The Home Depot and Philips who presented Autism Speaks with a checks for over $190,000 raised from April’s Light It Up Blue Campaign!
