More than 4,000 attendees participated in the Bronx Walk Now for Autism Speaks on Sunday, April 6th at Orchard Beach. The day included children’s activities, from face painting to puzzle piece nail art, performances from the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, music from DJ Victor and a very special appearance from Geoffrey of Toys R Us! It was a beautiful day to spend at the beach together in support of Bronx’s autism community.
To date, the event raised more than $163,000 in support of Autism Speaks’ mission to fund research, increase awareness and family services and advocate for individuals with autism and their families. Visit the Bronx Walk site for more!
