Santa Barbara Walk Now for Autism Speaks Recap

Wednesday, October 31, 2012 View Comments

We had a beautiful afternoon at the 4th annual Santa Barbara Walk Now for Autism Speaks . On Saturday, October 27th at East Beach, over 2000 people came out to support their friends, family, and coworkers and raise over $100,000 for the autism community.

Families love coming to the Santa Barbara Walk because the it’s more of a stroll. The Route is a path that goes from the beach to the Santa Barbara Pier and back again. The ocean breeze, sand and sailboats as our backdrop just made the Walk a day to remember for all our families.

A huge Thank You to our Walk Chair Rebecca Ingram and the whole committee that helped make our Walk day so memorable.  Thank you to our national sponsors Toys "R" Us and Babies "R" Us and our amazing local sponsors Hutton Parker Foundation, Eureka! Gourmet Burgers and Craft Beer, Network Hardware Resale, AB Design Studio, Young Construction, Invest West,, Bartlett Pringle and Wolf, The Bank of Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara Bank and Trust, Joe's Crab Shack, TWIW Insurance Services, and Montecito Bank and Trust.  Thank you to our In Kind sponsors Ralphs, Felton Media Services, Sports Authority, Rex Sanchez Photography, Jiordano's, and The Berry Man.
