Orange County Walk Now for Autism Speaks Recap

Thursday, October 25, 2012 View Comments

We had a wonderful day at the 9th annual Orange County Walk Now for Autism Speaks on Saturday, October 13th.  Gathering at the Great Park in Irvine, over 28,500 people came together to enjoy a wonderful resource fair and Walk.

Huge thanks to our Walk Chair Elif Cagin who led us to a successful Walk at a brand new venue.  Thank you to our wonderful emcee Phillip Palmer and the Chivas USA players.

Our heartfelt gratitude to our wonderful Sponsors – national sponsors Toys "R" Us and Babies "R" Us and local sponsors Service Champions Heating and Air Conditioning, Salamirad Morrow Attourneys at Law, Chivas USA, Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald LLP, Control Air, Berger Kahn, Ralphs, Burbon Street, Jackson Hewitt, Sports Authority, and Hughes Marino! Thank you also to our fabulous media sponsors - PBS SoCal, Autism America, Jack FM, and KUCI Irvine.

Most of all a huge thank you to ALL our families for coming out to support the Orange County Walk Now for Autism Speaks and all those affected by autism! Through all your fundraising efforts we were able to raise over $266,000 dollars for our families.
