The Inaugural Greater Morris Area Walk Now for Autism Speaks took place on Saturday, October 6th at Central Park in Morris Plains. The Walk exceeded it goal, with 1200 participants raising $140,000 to support the mission of Autism Speaks!
Families enjoyed children’s activities including a moon bounce, arts and crafts, and face painting while parents visited the Autism Community Resource Fair and Autism Votes booth. 65 New Teams walked along with Jacqueline Laurita of Real Housewives of New Jersey and Janice Huff, NBC 4 New York Meteorologist.
A very special thank you to the Greater Morris Area Walk Co-Chairs, Eileen Ruggerio and Sharon Cohen and the Greater Morris Area Walk Committee for all your planning and teamwork! Walk day was all we had hoped for!
