We had a wonderful day at Jackson North Park where we celebrated the 2nd annual Canton Walk Now for Autism Speaks. We were joined by over 800 members of the community for our resource fair and Walk. This is one of the inaugural autism awareness events in the community, and the excitement showed!
Thank you so much to our very passionate Walk Chair, Kate Kuhlmann! We had multiple schools involved, football players, cheerleaders, mascots, Autism Speaks U at Case Western Reserve and Alpha Xi Delta’s from Mount Union, Kent State, Slippery Rock and Youngstown State! Kids painted pumpkins, got their face painted and played on the beautiful playground at the park.
