The 7th Annual Las Vegas Walk Now for Autism Speaks took place on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at UNLV – Main Campus. With 1,500 walkers, the Walk raised $90,000 – so far! Thanks to our Walk Chairs, Noreana Seaux and Lisa Brown for their leadership in helping to bring together a wonderful Walk committee again this year.
It was a beautiful October day with so many families, and with the support of all the generous people who donated their time, talent with over 20 local resource providers with lots of fun kid-friendly activities. The local Alpha Xi Delta Chapter provided fresh baked puzzle piece sugar cookies for all to decorate and enjoy. We want to thank all the wonderful volunteers that came out early in the morning and stayed to volunteer the entire day! What an amazing community, Las Vegas YOU ALL should be proud!
