Over 1,000 walkers joined us at Ala Moana Beach Park in Honolulu on Saturday, June 11th for the Hawaii Walk Now for Autism Speaks. With over 1,000 participants there to enjoy a beautiful day in downtown Honolulu, our teams displayed incredible team spirit through their cheers, singing, and incredible signs dedicated to supporting their loved ones with autism.
Big THANK YOU to all our local sponsorship, Best Buy and IBEW Local 1186. We would like to thank all of the service providers that attended and our amazing sponsors that helped make this Walk possible. The Community Resource Fair featured over 20 service providers focused on helping families affected by autism. At the end of Walk day, the Hawaii Walk Now for Autism Speaks raised over $6,000 on the day of raising the event total to over $62,000! We are so grateful for all of the hard work of volunteers, families, and friends for supporting this Walk and helping to fund critical research for autism. Thank you to all of you and we look forward to seeing you next year at the 2012 Hawaii Walk Now for Autism Speaks!!!
