The 11th Annual Central New Jersey Walk Now for Autism Speaks took place on Sunday, 10.10.10 at Mercer County Community College in West Windsor. Over 3,500 walkers came together to raise $205,000… and climbing! Walk Co-Chairs, Patty & Greg Gillette and Kelvin Miller, and the Central NJ Walk Planning Committee put together a fantastic event for the local autism community.
Families and friends enjoyed entertainment including a Fun Bus, Home Depot Kids Workshop, crafts and face painting, Schafer Gymnastics, performance by Step by Step Dancers and Montgomery High School Cheerleaders, Bucks County Zoo, magicians and clowns, Autism Resource Fair, bubble wrap run and a therapeutic pony!
A big thank you to all of our teams! We had 70 teams walking with us for the first time and some who have been walking with us for 11 years.
Together we will find the missing pieces! Check out photos from Walk Day at www.facebook.com/AutismSpeaks.CNJ.
