Team Up! Meets the Challenge at the Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend

As you would expect, the 2nd annual Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend at Disneyland gave runners the opportunity to dress as Chewbacca, Kylo Ren, Princess Leia, a Storm Trooper, a Jedi Knight, and even BB-8. There were more than 30,000 runners and their cheering friends and families, and Team Up! had 59 runners in the crowd running the 5k, 10k, Half Marathon and Rebel Challenge.

Our team raised more than $57,000 and included parents, professionals, a grandparent, siblings, and a teen on the autism spectrum.

If you’re thinking about doing a Team Up! race, look for a spot on our London Marathon, NYC Half Marathon, Berlin Marathon or Star Wars Dark Side teams!
