Celebrating Autism Awareness Month with Theme Weeks!
April 2 marks World Autism Awareness Day and we will be 'Lighting It Up Blue' to shine a bright light on autism. Light It Up Blue, in its third year, is a unique global initiative by Autism Speaks to help raise awareness about the growing public health concern that is autism. Thousands of Iconic landmarks, buildings, and homes around the world are joining us by illuminating in bright blue on the evening of April 2 to show support for millions of people affected by autism.

April is also Autism Awareness Month and we will be honoring the month by having themes for each week. We will be featuring news items, blog posts, chats, and so much more each week to highlight the latest issues, research and amazing people within the autism community. Mark your calendars, because we are thrilled to share all of the work and initiatives Autism Speaks is a part of!
