Autism Speaks, Bank of America Expand Partnership To Support Autism Awareness

Bank of America Makes Donation to Autism Speaks for Every Card and Deposit Program Opened by Consumers

NEW YORK, NY (August, 4, 2008) – Autism Speaks, the world's largest autism advocacy organization, and Bank of America, one of the world's largest financial institutions, today announced an expanded partnership that will give consumers a new way to support autism advocacy and research.

Under the new agreement, the two organizations will offer an Autism Speaks Visa® credit card and personal checking account at more than 6,100 Bank of America banking centers and on the Autism Speaks Web site. In addition, CDs and IRAs will be offered at special rates. Bank of America will make a donation to Autism Speaks for every personal checking account and credit card account that is opened. Autism Speaks will also receive a further donation for every Check Card and credit card transaction.
