The 11th annual Southern New Jersey Walk Now for Autism Speaks was held on Saturday, May 19th in Mount Laurel at the ARI building. This new location was special for our community as Holman Automotive/ARI serves as a corporate sponsor and top fundraising team of our Walk each year!
Sunday, May 20th, marked the 6th Anniversary of Georgia’s Walk Now for Autism Speaks held at Atlantic Station, in Atlanta Georgia. It was a beautiful day filled with blue skies and high spirits! In fact, over 11,000 people were there to Walk Now for Autism Speaks and get information from over 40 Resource and Service Providers.
Over 790 participants came out in support of the 8th Annual Wheeling Now for Autism Speaks annual event. This year’s Walk was once again held on Warwood Trail at Warwood School in Wheeling WV. Participants enjoyed a sunshine filled day with food, fun and entertainment!
Over 7,000 participants came out in support of the 11th Annual NNJ Walk Now for Autism Speaks on Sunday, May 20, 2012. Together, we raised over $370,000 (and counting!) to fund the most promising autism research, advance advocacy, provide family services, and raise autism awareness. We are so close to our goal of $570,000 but need your help to get there.

Early in the morning on Saturday, May 19th, my son Hunter and I joined hundreds of other families affected by autism for the "10th Annual Bay Area Walk Now for Autism Speaks."
On May 2, YouTube sensation Ethan Walmark was featured alongside his parents, Allison and Michael, during the 8:00 a.m. hour of the Today Show. Ethan, 6, was diagnosed with autism four years ago. A recently posted video of him performing Billy Joel's "Piano Man" has rapidly gone viral on the internet, earning Ethan praise from Joel himself.
