Walk Now for Autism Speaks

Shine a Light on Autism This Holiday Season

Earlier this month we celebrated World Autism Awareness Day, lighting over 1,000 iconic buildings and countless homes around the world blue in support of autism awareness. It’s not too late to join Autism Speaks to shine a light on autism. Autism awareness doesn’t stop after April 2nd - keep lighting your windows and homes blue and help us keep awareness of this disorder at the forefront of everyone’s mind.

2011 Cumberland Tri-State Walk Now for Autism Speaks

On a cold, blustery day in Cumberland, Maryland, 1,200 people looped the track at Allegany College for the ninth annual Cumberland Tri-State Walk Now for Autism Speaks event on Saturday, April 9, 2011.  Walk Chairperson, Marcy Hardinger led the opening ceremonies with special thanks to all Walk participants who came far and wide to enjoy the festivities of the day and support the urgent mission of Autism Speaks.
