I first found out about David Chesney's software engineering class at dinner with Donald Brinkman from Microsoft. We were talking about different ways technology is impacting autism, and introduced us via e-mail. I was intrigued by the idea of students spending an entire semester, hacking and developing games for autism therapies using Microsoft Kinect devices. As a geek, this was just too good to be true!

Jonathan Schwartz is the father of two, and the President, CEO of CareZone. He was previously the President and Chief Executive Officer of Sun Microsystems, Inc., a Fortune 200 company whose pioneering innovations touched nearly every corner of the internet. He and his family live in San Francisco, California.

 

January got everyone off and running quickly as we ramped up several new programs and initiatives for 2012 and literally hit the ground running. CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is big, really big. Crazy big. The annual show hosts some 140,000 attendees and features some of the most incredible technology, gadgets and ideas that shape how we interact with our world. The main purpose of my attending was to support a recent partnership between Autism Speaks and Audax Health's Careverge [link].
