We would like to thank Cantor Fitzgerald for including Autism Speaks in its annual Charity Day event on September 11, 2012. Charity Day takes place every year to commemorate September 11, 2001. By reaching out to help others, Cantor Fitzgerald turns a tragic day into one that is positive and uplifting. During the event, celebrities work with licensed brokers to raise funds for dozens of charities all over the world. We would like to express our gratitude to Autism Speaks' celebrity ambassadors, former NBA player Cliff Robinson and former NFL player Corey Louchiey.

Autism Speaks’ new website, Fundraise Your Way is an exciting way to support those touched by Autism. Raise funds for Autism Speaks with any kind of event under the sun: birthday party, wedding registry, golf game and more! We’re asking our supporters to submit their favorite fun ‘activity photos’ for a chance to be on the FYW FRONT PAGE! Post your photo to Pinterest and tag the image with #FYW4AS. We’ll re-pin the photos on our board.

In 1997, my son was born with magic, wonder, kindness, and disabilities. In those years, I have had so many experiences – among them helping to start a school program in New York City and also creating the Tango, an AAC Device which many consider to have helped create new innovative energy in the world of Speech Generating Devices.
