3rd Annual West Plains Walk Increases Team Participation by 20%
Hundred of families and supporters in the West Plains, Mo. community gathered for the 3rd Annual Walk Now for Autism at the West Plains Civic Center on Saturday, September 29. The 2007 event experienced a 20% increase in the number of teams registered, raising over $40,000.

A moment of silence was held in honor of Draco McCallister, one of the walk's youngest team members, who was in a fatal car accident several weeks prior to the walk. This year's walk was dedicated in his memory.

Visit the West Plains walk page or go to the Walk Now for Autism site to find a walk in your area.
