The Central New Jersey Walk Now for Autism took place at Mercer County Community College in West Windsor, N.J. on Sunday, Oct. 21. Over 2,500 walkers turned out and raised $215,000. Glenn Tringali, Autism Speaks' executive vice president of fundraising and operations, led the opening ceremonies; the Central N.J. Walk Executive Committee followed.
The walk region, which includes the N.J. Shore Walkand the North/Central N.J. Walk, raised $335,000 more than last year, bringing their combined estimated year-end total to $1.1 million.
