The Greater Austin Walk Now for Autism took place November 10 at the Dell Diamond Stadium in Round Rock, Texas, where more than 1,500 walkers on 139 teams turned out to raise more than $135,000. Actor Jesse Plemons, of NBC's Friday Night Lights, and his mother Lisa, who teaches children with autism in the Waco, Texas school district, joined family and friends on the Waco Walkers Team. Austin's own Billy Eli and Band performed, and Eli's son walked as part of Jacob & Griffin's Gang.
