Autism Speaks Special Events Heat up in Winter
Wherever you live, there's probably an Autism Speaks special event coming soon to a town near you. Over the next few weeks, Autism Speaks events will be held in Chicago, East Rutherford, N.J., New York, Miami, and Nashville. Many of these events are hosted and organized by dedicated volunteers, while others are arranged by our national special events team.

  • Celebrating its third year, the annual red carpet spectacular An Evening with the Stars has quickly become the premiere Oscar-themed fundraiser in Chicago, raising over $200,000 last year. This year's festivities take place on February 24. For more information click here. To purchase your tickets now click here.

  • Join us as the NJ Nets take on the Orlando Magic at 7:30 pm on February 26 and help raise awareness for autism. Purchase tickets by downloading the flier here. A percentage of each ticket sold will benefit autism awareness and every ticket holder will receive a Nets Mini Basketball with each ticket purchase.

  • The Kickoff for a Cure III dinner gala will be held at the world renowned Waldorf-Astoria in New York City on March 12, 2008. This exciting event raised over $2 million in 2007. The dinner gala will feature an awards presentation to honorees highlighted for their philanthropic efforts. Top sponsors can enjoy the opportunity to be joined at their tables by current and alumni NFL players. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception featuring a silent auction to be followed by the dinner and awards presentation. Proceeds from the event will benefit Autism Speaks and The Gillen Brewer School. The event is co-chaired by Roger Goodell, Commissioner, National Football League, Henry Schacht, Chair, The Gillen Brewer School and Suzanne and Bob Wright, co-founders, Autism Speaks. Read more and view photos from Kickoff for a Cure II here.

  • Bring your family and friends and join us for the Third Annual Autism Awareness Night with the Nashville Predators at 7:00 p.m.on March 18 in the Gaylord Entertainment Center, Nashville, Tenn. Discounted tickets are available in four different sections, with a portion of the proceeds from every ticket purchased through this order form donated to benefit the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center for Human Development and Autism Speaks' Athletes Against Autism program.
