Autism Speaks' Ninth Annual NY Celebrity Golf Challenge on June 18, 2007, raised $1,200,000 and brought out celebrities from the entertainment and sports world, including actor Richard Kind and Dateline NBC's Stone Phillips.
Held at the Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, N.Y., the golfing event included a million-dollar shootout, as well as a dinner reception with an exciting silent and live auction, featuring faithful and tireless auctioneer, Mike Kenny.
Also on hand to help raise funds for autism research, awareness and advocacy were actor Gregg Bello; TheNFL on CBS' Play-by-Play Announcer Don Criqui; Kansas' Drummer and Manager Phil Ehart; Banfield & Ford: Courtside's Co-anchor Jack Ford; Fox 5's meteorologist Nick Gregory;
Late Show with David Letterman's Announcer Alan Kalter; CNBC's Squawk Box Co-Anchor Joe Kernen; former NFL cornerback Jeremy Lincoln; Today In New York's Sports Anchor Otis Livingston; CNBC Business News' Managing Editor Tyler Mathisen; musician and producer Brendan O'Brien; NY1's The Call Host John Schiumo; former Giants and 49'ers quarterback Jesse Palmer; former pro golfer Dr. Travis Fox; and musician Tyrone Vaughan.
