author Tom Brokaw who introduced speakers Donald Trump, an event co-chair along with wife Melania, followed by Florida Governor Charlie Crist, and Suzanne and Bob Wright, the co-founders of Autism Speaks. The audience was on their feet for much of the concert that featured Richie's most beloved and acclaimed hits, both as a solo performer and as a member of the Commodores.

The evening included some very special moments, including a surprise birthday cake and song for guest Michelle Kessler. In addition, Lionel Richie dedicated a touching rendition of “Three Times a Lady” to honor Suzanne Wright. The final song, “All Night Long,” brought down the house as audience members hopped up on the stage to be a part of the magic. It was an incredible concert and a great way to conclude Autism Speaks Week in South Florida.
