More than 150 Bikers Participate in 2nd Annual ING DIRECT Ride Now Washington D.C.
On Sunday, August 10, 2008, more than 150 participants turned out for a beautiful day of riding through Northern Virginia for the 2nd Annual ING DIRECT Ride Now Washington D.C. event. Participants raised more than $11,000 for autism research and awareness.

cool day of riding throughout the region to show their support for Autism Speaks. The Ride included a stop at the National Museum of the Marine Corps. Riders displayed autism awareness signs, bandanas, pins, and shirts, all carrying the Autism Speaks logo, throughout the two hour ride..
As riders pulled into American Legion Post 177 for an after-party that included an appearance by the famed Redskins Hoggettes, live music, food, and raffle prizes, they were greeted by proud volunteers and ING DIRECT sponsor representative Bob George. George thanked the crowd for all of their efforts on behalf of the families and Autism Speaks.
