More than 500 Bikers Participate in Inaugural ING DIRECT Ride Now Colorado
On Sunday, September 7, more than 500 participants turned out for a beautiful day of motorcycle riding through Colorado for the inaugural ING DIRECT Ride Now Colorado event.

Bikers and passengers joined together in support of the Autism Speaks community and the many families that gathered at INVESCO Field at Mile High in the morning to take part in family friendly activities that included arts and crafts, a bounce house, and a fantastic Fun Bus adventure. breakfast, vendors and live music on a beautiful Sunday before they headed out for a great day of riding. Riders showed their support by sponsoring honorary child riders with additional donations at registration and the kids sent the motorcycles on their way out of the stadium and toward the after party at The Little Bear Saloon in Evergreen, Colo. Christi Coors of Miller-Coors Corporation and Scott Lugar of ING DIRECT were on hand in the morning to help kick off the ride, with more festivities emceed by local radio personality Bret Saunders.

As riders pulled into The Little Bear Saloon in Evergreen for the after-party, they were greeted by families and live music from local favorites the Groove Hawgs and HomeSlice. There was food, live music, a silent auction and raffle prizes throughout the afternoon. It was a wonderful day for riding and a great inaugural event in Colorado to spread awareness.

Special thanks goes out to committee chairs Mikayla Houser and Annie Crusafelli, as all as all of the committee members and volunteers who helped make this event such a great success. With four more rides across the country over the next five weeks, this year's ING DIRECT Ride Now program looks to be even more successful than ever before in support of the autism community and Autism Speaks.
