Autism Speaks held its 3rd Annual Celebrity Charity Softball Game on Sunday, July 27 at KeySpan Park in Coney Island, Brooklyn, raising $5,000. Fans gathered at the stadium, home of the minor league Brooklyn Cyclones baseball team, as New York radio station Z100's Flamethrowers took on the NBC Peacocks. For the first time the NBC Peacocks beat the Z100 Flamethrowers by a score of 8-4, and the first out of the park home run was recorded by Z100's Westlee

Among the players on hand to raise money and awareness were Lonny Ross of “30 Rock”, Kane Manera from “Guiding Light,” Jon Prescott and Meredith Hagner from “As The World Turns,” Skeery Jones and Dave Brody from Z100, Dave Marciano from “The Shield,” Evan Farmer, formerly of TLC's “While You Were Out,” comedian Michael Somerville, Jimmy “Mouth of the South” Hart and Ted DiBiase, The Million Dollar Man, both formerly of WWE, and Josh Barrett, Michael Kelly and Marc Menchaca of HBO's new mini series “Generation Kill.”

A special thank you to all in-kind donors including the Brooklyn Cyclones for the donation of the stadium and staff for the game; Millennium Development for the donation of all game day equipment; NEWS12, New York Family Magazine, and Z100 for pre-event promotion; Threadless and Calvin Klein for player SWAG bags; and Honest T and VitaminWater for keeping all players and fans hydrated.
