Autism Speaks Celebrity Softball Game

Autism Speaks held its inaugural Celebrity Charity Softball Game at KeySpan Park in Coney Island, Brooklyn, on Sept. 16, 2006, raising $4,000 in the process. Fans gathered at the stadium, the home of the minor league Brooklyn Cyclones baseball team, as a team from New York TV station CW11 took on team NBC. Despite an 8th inning rally by team NBC, CW11 took the game by a final score of 5-2. Among the players on hand to raise money and awareness

were WPIX-TV anchor Jim Watkins; New York Access Hollywood correspondent Tim Vincent; Law and Order stars Milena Govich and Alana de la Garza; Josh Shaw, former contestant on The Apprentice and co-founder of GoSmile; O.A.R. bassist Benj Gershman; and WWE SmackDown wrestler Vito.
